Achraf Hakimi is a professional football player from Morocco. He was born on November 4, 1998, in the city of Madrid, Spain. Hakimi began his footballing career in the youth ranks of Real Madrid, joining the club’s academy at the age of eight.
In 2016, Hakimi made his senior debut for Real Madrid in a Copa del Rey match against Cultural Leonesa. However, he did not become a regular in the first team and was loaned out to Borussia Dortmund in 2018.
Hakimi made an immediate impact at Borussia Dortmund, establishing himself as a key player in the team’s defence. He scored his first goal for the club in a 4-1 win over RB Leipzig in January 2019. He continued to impress during his two-year loan spell, making a total of 73 defences and scoring nine goals for the German club.
In July 2020, Hakimi was signed by Inter Milan on a five-year deal. He made his debut for the club in a 4-3 win over Fiorentina in September 2020. He quickly established himself as an important player in the team, contributing with goals and assists from his position as a right-wing back.
